Top Quality Professional Mobile Disco


Whatever your occasion, you can rely on me to make it one to remember. I started in the disco business in 1990 and made it my full-time career in 1994, giving me a great deal of experience, remaining to this day consistently busier than most of my competitors, playing on average over 200 events per year.

Music


A vast catalogue of music is available covering all genres, ages and styles, your requests are welcomed as it is, after all, your evening. I always have the current top 40 chart hits, most of the forthcoming dance hits, as well as all the expected golden oldies from the 50s on.

The DJ


Dave Osborn or simply 'DJ Dave' as many of my clients like to call me.
During my time I have been resident DJ in many night clubs, bars, hotels and have probably played at every conceivable type of mobile disco event.
I will be dressed in an appropriate way for your specific function and have the experience to play the right sort of music to keep your guests on the dance-floor, with just the right amount of vocal encouragement so as not to be irritating (most people will agree there is nothing worse than a 'big ego' DJ who loves the sound of their own voice). Music where possible will be seamlessly mixed and flow perfectly throughout the evening.

The Equipment


Only top of the range professional equipment is used from the industry's top suppliers such as Denon, Yamaha, Martin Lighting and American DJ LED. The show has recently had a makeover, the new set-up is discreet, modern and elegant whilst still providing the sound and lighting show all good parties deserve. Various sizes of sound system are available, which we will select to suit your venue. My set-up is self-contained; all I require from your venue is access to a 13a power supply. As you would expect, sound quality is superb. The light show consists of modern LED light effects, as well as traditional halogen lights, which gives a much warmer atmosphere and focal point than using LED lights alone as with the sound equipment we will choose the correct lighting for you to complement your venue. All equipment is set up with the minimum of fuss and maintained and updated regularly regardless of cost. Backup equipment is also carried in the unlikely event of failure. Unlike some companies, I don't offer lots of different confusing equipment packages as I feel in many cases this is a ploy to charge you extra money and not always offer a lot in return. You can however be sure that I will provide a size of disco equipment appropriate to your venue to give you the most impressive sound and light experience I can. 

The Safety Bit


For your peace of mind I carry £10 million public liability insurance, an increasing number of venues now insist that any outside entertainer carries such a policy. All equipment is 'PAT'-tested on a yearly basis for electrical safety. If your venue requires proof of PLI or PAT, I will be happy to e-mail the relevant documents directly to them.
I realise every function is different so to discuss your particular needs please feel free to give me a call, I will be happy to provide you with a quote which we think you will find highly competitive, however do remember that to book any entertainment purely on cost is a recipe for disaster, there are sadly a number of unscrupulous people in this business who wont live up to your expectations or worse still may simply not turn up, so please make sure you know what you are getting before you book, on this note I should mention that all of my bookings are confirmed in writing so both parties know exactly what has been arranged

Karaoke Continues to Be One of the Best Ways to Create an Instant Party

I have been involved in the Karaoke Scene since it first started. Now with bang up-to-date equipment and songs, I have brought karaoke well and truly into the 21st century. If you are booking a karaoke for a private party, you can be assured of everyone getting involved with more than 8000 songs from the 50s to today's hits. This number is increasing all the time as we strive to keep the songs as up-to-date as possible. Karaoke can of course be combined with a disco.
If you are a landlord or manager of a pub, you’ll not find a better way to turn those quieter nights into one of, if not the busiest! Why not try a singing competition, I would be happy to assist in the finer points of organising such an event. Karaoke is also fantastic for holiday parks with young and old letting down their guard and getting involved. Only top quality equipment is used with sophisticated computer software and our Denon PA unit that includes key-change, full reverb and digital delay to help improve your singer voices? 
Often people have approached me during a gig to comment on the quality of sound and number of songs available. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Pub Quiz Nights


I currently run an extremely popular quiz night every Tuesday night at the Walkford Pub just outside Christchurch. Cash prize every week, as well as chocolate and wine. It starts 9.00pm, entry fee to the quiz is £1 per person.
I would be delighted to organise your own quiz night either as a one-off event or on a regular basis.
